a. to develop and maintain a greater mission consciousness among the women of the synod by means of a three-fold program:
    1. Mission Education
    2. Mission Inspiration
    3. Mission Service
b. to gather funds for mission grants either directly sponsored or approved by the LCMS district or synodical boards, especially those for which no adequate provision has been made in their budgets.

May 19, 2012 EC meeting at 9:00 a.m. at NID Hillside office.
June 20th last date to mail mite money for this biennium.
July 21, 2012 EC meeting at 8:30 a.m. and BOD meeting at 9:30 a.m. at Cross Lutheran   Church, 8609 State Route 47, Yorkville, IL 60560.
August 6 - 8th, mission service event at Grace Christian Academy, Chicago.
September 15, 2012 EC, Convention committee, and ZP's representing usher zones meeting 8:30 a.m. at Hilton Garden Inn, 4070 East Main Street, St. Charles, IL 60174.
Friday, October 5, 2012 NID LWML District Convention Servant Event is at the Northern Illinois Food Bank, 273 Dearborn Court, Geneva, IL 60134 from 12:30 to 3:00.
Friday, October 5, 2012 opening Worship Service at 7:00 p.m. at Immanuel, Batavia.
Saturday, October 6, 2012 NID LWML Convention at Hilton Garden Inn, St. Charles, IL.
June 27-30, 2013 LWML Convention in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

The suggested donation for a yearly subscription (July 1st - June 30th) to the Lutheran Woman's Quarterly is $5.00 per person given to your society for the district.
