NID has new YWR’s for the Portland Convention
Our new YWR’s were chosen at the NID Board of Directors meeting on Feb.21, 2009. We would like to introduce them to you and welcome them to the position!
Tania M. Canjura is a member of Trinity Lutheran in Cicero. She is a consumer banker and says that the Lord has given her the talent of being able to adapt to change and to easily communicate with others.
Tonya Covin Newson is a member of Ebenezer Lutheran in Chicago. She works in student security and loves working with children.
Sherrie Smith will be working with our new YWR’s - helping them with their convention registrations and arrangements for Portland. We ask that all you in the district keep these young women in your prayers and look forward to meeting them in Portland!
HOPE Committee wants to thank all of the young women who applied for the YWR positions and is sorry that only 2 could be selected this year.
